The rootstock is yield efficient, cold hardy, replant tolerant, fire blight resistant, with a much larger root system when compared to M9-337. Excellent dense root mass. Very good transplant results, nursery, and grower friendly.
Influence on Scion Habit
Bud-10® produces trees that are 30% to 35% of seedling. Bud-10® produces a tree similar to Pajam 2 in climates like Eastern Washington. Bud-10® has vigor similar to M9-337 and Pajam®2 in climates like New York.

Bud-10® has outstanding yield efficiency and precocity. It has been in commercial orchard use in the United States since 2012. Recent NC 140 trials show Bud 10® produced significantly more bitterpit free Honeycrisp than most other rootstocks in the trial.
